Stunning victory by Khairy Jamaluddin

Khairy Jamaluddin staged a stunning victory tonight proving all his critics wrong. Many in the press got their predictions wrong, too. Even as the votes were being counted, his contenders were expected as victors. In the end, KJ came out tops. Although the details of the votes were not revealed, it is said that Khir Toyo finished second and Mukhriz Mahathir last. Khir is said to have secured 254 votes against Mukhriz 232 votes but this is not confirmed.

In KJ's own words, the odds were against him but he has proven he is a fighter. He was written off as politically dead with his father in law, Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, leaving office. His critics said he was strategically wrong to stress on the need for a Malaysian leader but he stuck with his decision.

Delivering a powerful speech, KJ also showed the stuff he has in getting the boys behind him and taking on the opposition. The stage is now set for KJ to achieve bigger things. A Cabinet or a deputy minister post is now possibly in hand which will allow him to prove his ability further.

Something is very wrong here.

He is the root cause behind the fall of UMNO during last election.

Take care UMNO.

Padan muka Mahathir kerana cuba mengungkit perasaan perkauman untuk memancing undi demi anaknya.
Like i said, the old man is out. Not in sync with the times. The Melayu baru are smarter and cleverer now. Their feelings are not easily manipulated by the ultras of the 60s and now in their 80s. If the old man is still calling the shots, malu la kita…
UMNO!Please Stop using the Chinese as the Bogeyman..enough is enough!
Demi Bangsa, Negara dan Agama!

Shall we expect another surprise in the Mohdx2 vs Muyiddin contest? That will give a good continuing battle between the two factions, the AAB vs Najib factions to continue and give the press boys for stories to write? And more interesting times ahead. Good to have two factions in UMNO, so that each one of them can "leak" dirty info of their enemies to the Pakatan folks for airing to the public.

Make him minister of education.

An important lesson to be learnt in the UMNO elections is that it is fallacious to accept the delegates at face value. For all their courtesy and and self effacing habit ,has inevitably imposed a constant restraint on them.It is better that the power brokers within Umno understand the delegates for what they really are. This restraint within the delegates is potentially dangerous. It is perpetually seeking expression. Yesterday that expression was Khairy Jamaluddin.

It is good for the young generation. Although I am not a supporter of KJ, I feel that this nation needs new and young blood to face the upcoming challenges. GOOD FOR THE YOUTHS. Make him a minister and give him an opportunity to prove his abilities.

This is great!

Khairy was one reason UMNO lost badly in the last election. Now that he is going to be an UMNO Minister, the dislike and hatred of Malaysians towards UMNO will continue to grow. The fall of UMNO is nearly guaranteed!
