Jeff Ooi quits Penang CM's Office?

Update: March 25, 4.10am - Jeff Ooi: I am staying on till the job is done
See Star Online.

The talk in Penang tonight is that Jeff Ooi (pic) has or plans to quit as the Chief of Staff of the Penang Chief Minister Office, The Star Online reported. At least one local Chinese paper in Penang has gone to town with the story. The Star managed to contact Jeff Ooi who refused to confirm nor deny the story, which has been circulating for a while. Jeff is said to have a written understanding with Lim Guan Eng that he would only hold the post for a while. It was a Penang victory on March 8 which the DAP including Jeff did not expect. When the party won, Jeff was asked to help put things in order. But it is also well known that Jeff did not have an easy time at Komtar. Some could not adjust to his professionalism in running the office, preferring the slower pace. But we will find out more when Jeff blogs about it.

Dato Dato Dato - did you ever find out the truth first before saying that YB Jeff works faster than the rest? It is an insinuation.

What the issue? Just quit, if you have too much work and give others the opportunity.

Jeff, we support you. it can be tiring. I am in the same predicatement. But at least you can affect more change.

I wonder why the federal government's people have no such consideration. nobody want to resign because they are not good enough / not doing what is ideal. I guess that is why we have the largest civil service but can't even do something on time.

Jeff,
Do you stilll want to be in cohorts with a leader who wants to bring tigers to Relau.
Do you want leaders who idolised a tree as a symbol of democracy?

Another spin by someone who is beholden to the MCA

Actually what is the big issue? Well I think Jeff is right-he should focus more on getting FDI into Malaysia and help unemployed Malaysians get jobs....which I do not see anyone from BN trying to do??Even MITI Minister is pre-occupied with UMNO elections and I do not see him going on investment missions??
