The Umno general assembly begins next week. Najib Tun Razak has already won the party presidency unopposed and once the meeting is over, he would be the country's sixth Prime Minister. But until now, there is no official announcement on when the Prime Minister would make way for Najib.
The Cabinet which met on Friday was not told of any date. Like everyone else, they are also guessing but the most speculated date is April 2. Abdullah Ahmad Badawi and Najib are expected to meet the King the same day. Najib is expected to be sworn in as new PM the next day. A new Cabinet new line up can be expected soon.
The belief is that Abdullah would use the Umno general assembly as a platform to announce his exit date. His final speech as Umno president would surely be closely followed.

It shows that Wong Chun Wai does not know the constitution. How can Chun Wai be so sure that Najib will be the next PM? Does it mean he support teh President of UMNO must be the PM?
LOOKING FOR A DATE?
How to pinpoint a specific date?
Does it matter if early or late?
Do we just leave it all to fate?
Will it remain as love or hate?

AAB is not stepping down. The flip flop legacy will be continued, and on April 1st AAB will announce he has decided to stay on as PM due to popular demand. I would like to say Ha Ha to Malaysian politics, except it is no longer a laughing matter who will be the next PM.
The end for conspiracy theorist. I think Tun M has contributed to a lot of what's happening today. Rightly or Wrongly?
Frankly, iam just so SICK & TIRED of politics nowadays that i just wouldnt give a hoot who will be the next PM. In the first place do we RAKYAT even have a choice or a voice as to who to pick? I just might as well pray to GOD to save this beloved country of ours from going to the dogs...

Dear Wong,
Malaysia is now at a cross road.
The future of the nation do not lie in the hands of any political leader or the incoming PM, whoever he is.
I have long ceased to place my trust or hope on any PM, incoming PM or any political leader in the Govt. or Opposition.
The nation's hope and future depends on whether the people would humble themselves and pray and seek God's face and turn from their wicked ways and intercede for this nation.
If we do, then God will surely heal and bless this nation.
God is a good God. He is ever willing to bless and restore.
We have reach a stage where we need God's intervention to get rid of leaders who are corrupt and self serving. No judiciary, MACC, AG, police or NGO's can help. This sadly is true in Malaysia.
With God all things are possible.
Only believe.
Dear Datuk Seri,
I think it s atradition that the president of Umno would the PM.
But looking at the current situation PM AAB should stay.
Why giving him AAB too much pressure...........
Give him some space to breath.
Wil wait n see Truth Wil never Die!
