I always read your week-end column; 'on the beat'... I hope you are able to write something on this. Have you read what RPK wrote on 'what is Islam?' I am a Buddhist and I am reading the Quran TO UNDERSTAND ISLAM better and I agreed with what RPK said and could feel his passion on helping fellow Malaysians to see the T R U T H.
"Speak the truth and the truth will set you free..."
When will we learn to see things as they truly ARE? Does the Dap Election song ring a bell in your ears? Isn't it true the lyrics written by YB TonyPua in the election Dap song;'Just change for Malaysia....just change for Malaysia..>> we will be 1 race, we rise to see the SUN, our leaders will have INTEGRITY...." I hope you have listen and able to sing the song like me.....

This is a sad day for justice and democracy. When the police and the people in power spend their efforts to suppress champions of justice and democracy, instead of spending their efforts to crack down on crimeand corruption. Criminals walk free, and champions of justice and democracy go to jail. This is a police state. This unjust action will make the rakyat support Pakatan Rakyat even more. We hope there are enough BN MPs with enough conscience to switch to PR to end this cruel BN government.

ANOTHER DEATH BLOW FOR PRESS FREEDOM, JUSTICE, AND DEMOCRACY IN MALAYSIA. IT ALL GOES TO SHOW THAT THE UMNO GOVT DID NOT HEAR THE RAKYAT. IT ALL GOES TO SHOW THAT ALL THE TALK ABOUT REFORMS BY THE UMNO GOVT IS A WAYANG KULIT SHOW. SO MCA, GERAKAN, AND OTHER COMPONENT PARTIES, PLEASE QUIT BN. DON'T BE PARTNERS IN CRIME. AND ALL THOSE UMNO MEMBERS WHO TRULY FEAR GOD, PLEASE QUIT UMNO. AT THE END OF YOUR LIFE, ALL OF YOU MUST FACE GOD.

Dato Wong, I hope you will use your influence in STAR to support your fellow writer and fellow blogger RPK. RPK is a hero of the Rakyat who we all see as a fighter for justice and freedom. Long live RPK. Down with BN. Down with UMNO.

I see this move as another of the Government's attempt to muzzle the free press. This is not quite unlike the time when courts used ridiculously huge fines to deter reporters from reporting on the controversial. Thankfully the courts have come to their senses. These days huge payouts for libel are unheard of. For a while, RPK has been telling it as it is on subjects such as governance, deviation of religion, Malay supremacy, corruption and whatever that ails this nation of ours. I do not know where the anger comes from. He certainly lives up to his "No Holds Barred" slogan with his authority bashing reports. His is an act to follow for those who are in the position to do so. The truth does not prevail here in the Malaysian. It simply does not. It is simply the Malaysian way to be politically correct and socially acceptable - the Chinese tai-chi, the Malay wayang kulit, the Indian pusing and the general kiasu - these cultures become us. Even so, this is not the same as saying we cannot be free of the pretenses and mannerisms we have been brought up to observe. For the sake of a better future, let us pray that no matter what ensues from this RPK chapter, those who fight for justice, fairness and the Malaysia for all Malaysians will not be cowed.

RPK is not going to jail for nothing but to make his stand even stronger and to get the rakyat to realise that we should not swallow everything the mass media potrays. RPK did what no other MSM can achieve.

RPK is a hero to me and probably a hero to Mongolians too.
