Wee Choo Keong gets backing from Azmin Ali

PKR MP Wee Choo Keong has the support of party vice-president Azmin Ali (picture). The Bukit Antarabangsa state assemblyman has asked that Wee be given a chance to explain his allegation that a Selangor state exco member has ties with the underworld. He wants Wee to be allowed to explain to party leaders clearly so that the party leadership understands the issue better.

The controversy seems to have deepened with Azmin claiming that Selangor Mentri Besar Khalid Ibrahim has been summoned by PKR leaders to explain several party grouses. Today, a group of PKR Youth members handed Azmin a memorandum detailing unhappiness over the appointment of local councillors. The same group is said to have staged a protest at a ceramah by Anwar Ibrahim last week.

The Malaysian Insider reported that Azmin continued his tirade against the Selangor state government, trading barbs with state exco member Teresa Kok at the state assembly today. Kok had earlier called Wee a "shit stirrer." Wee - who has come under criticism by state exco member Ronnie Liu - wrote in his blog today that he welcomed police investigations into his allegation.

If Wee has bad blood with his former DAP comrades, particularly Liu, the PKR problem is between Azmin and Khalid. The relationship between the two is essentially functional. Selangor state exco member Elizabeth Wong, who had to stay away from politics for a while following the nude photo controversy, is said to be a victim of Pakatan Rakyat's murky politics in the state, where the stakes are high.

Are some Pakatan fellas learning the tricks of the trade ( ie. money money money ) from BN? Are they becoming corrupt so quickly? Are all these barbs and infighting due to land & hillside development? Big money is at stake there, isn't it? Perhaps some people have aims to build palaces too. Have some developers bought over some of the reps and creating trouble for those who have become stumbling blocks?

We can smell some, to out it politely, "money politics" brewing in the state government. Who are the fellas upsetting the tycoons of the land, and who have the tycoons recruited to lobby for their causes? WHo are getting contracts and who did not? Who is lobbying who? I suppose if we dig enough, it will point to $$$. Is Pakatan becoming like BN so soon? Has corruption been entrenched into Malaysian culture so deeply that regardless of which party or person you put into the government, it will end up the same way? Do we need to alternate the parties into government so that shit cans dug up every four or five years? Maybe next GE, we should put BN into the 5 states, and put Pakatan into the federal government so that they dig up each others' dirt.

Azmin Ali, Wee Choo Keong & Rakan Rakan.
Now we know Azmin and Wee are the Ali Baba unholy alliance.
We want to know who are their unholy rakan rakan. Your blog has given a whiff of hint. Wanna be more explicit?
Are these two the potential next frogs?

PKR has a poor record of putting up quality candidates for their ADUNs and MPs....not enough quality people in PKR ! Maybe it is in their blood since most PKR fellas come from BN

There is a pattern emerging already. At first UMNO/BN was too hasty in Perak with an outright explicit recruitment of 3 frogs, earning the public's wrath. Now UMNO/BN has gotten smarter. I think UMNO/BN has inflitrated Pakatan, especially PKR, quite extensively. But instead of an outright open hopping, they are now using the frogs undercover, and creating dissent among the Pakatan component parties, and also within each component. With so much resources, UMNO/BN can easily buy over many of the Pakatan reps. And with most of the PKR members mostly recruited from BN, the BN's network into PKR should be quite extensive and cozy. I am sure many of the BN and PKR members still hang out together.

Its just amazing how blind loyalty can turn your commentators to being....blind!

The truth of the matter is money begets power, and v.v.
To think that politics is a game without money is being naive!

And Wee and Azmin knows it. PKR needs it, but its DAP that gets away with it.

The MU byelection result is the people's way of saying to Pakatan that if you don't get your act right, you may get kicked out. The pakatan reps should all go back to basics and focus on serving the rakyat. Stop being power greedy or money greedy. You could get kicked out real quick. The leaders in Pakatan should come down hard on their members who start shoooting arrows at their own party or partners in Pakatan. Impose some discipline and go get some work done.

I voted for Pakatan during the 3/08 GE. I still support Pakatan for the sake of a balance in the political system, although I am getting more disappointed by the day as they start to squabble among themselves. And some of them are fighting to be the next PM when they still have not even won the federal election. I was secretly hoping that Pakatan should lose the MU by-election so that they can get a wake up call, and have time to sort itself out before the next GE. PAS, thanks to Hadi and Nas, have shown that they can betray the Chinese and Indians who supported them. Hadi and NAs have grown swollen headed and need a knock on their heads to bring them down to size. PKR reps also have shown great indiscipline, and are a lot like UMNO. Pakatan is squandering fast all the goodwill they have won. If Najib call for a snap election in Perak today, there is a chance that Pakatan could be trounced. The likes of Zul Nordin, the Wee, the Azmin, the Nas and Hadi, are all undermining Pakatan. We did not vote for Pakata if we had wanted another BN.

Pakatan is like a side that wants to keep shooting itself in the foot, and keeps inviting the other side to shoot the ball into its goal mouth.
The rakyat want to give them the votes, yet they keep making it difficult.
* PKR has a severe indiscipline problem. It produces a lot of sht stirrers like Zul, Wee, Azmin, etc, and a lot of truants who do not turn up for state and parliament sessions. In fact they even let their own boss Anwar down by missing the parliament voting session on the DNA bill! Pakatan could have won that vote session if almost all the PKR fellas had turned up to support their boss.
* PKR rank and file show a greedy streak. It is almost a mirror image of UMNO/BN in this aspect.
* PAS has not learnt how to move on to a modern era. It is trapped in a time warp. Many of them still want to be like the Talibans, when the Afghans themselves are starting to reject the Talibans.
* The extremists like Hadi and Nas forgot that they won big in the last GE because people were fed up with UMNO. Now Hadi and Nas want to be part of UMNO! If we want UMNO, we would have voted UMNO/BN, not PAS/PR.
* Some DAP reps do not know how to compromise on small issues, and fight for big ones. Moving of a dirty abbatoir is not a racial issue. Even Chinese and Indians do not want to live next to a smelly and dirty abbatoir or pig farm. Maybe they should work with the state to move the farmers from rearing pigs to processing imported pork, which would be more profitable and cleaner. One tiny "german" sausage cost more than 1 kg of raw pork!
A loss by PAS/Pakatan in MU would have been good for Pakatan. It would have sent a strong message to stop messing around, and to remember why they were elected in the 3/08 election.

Ronnie is a problem. As Adun he is arrogant and hard headed. I dont think he listen to anyone even the public. That is the problem with some people in DAP. They must learn to listen. They are no longer opposition.
