Kedah exco man quits following allegations

There are plenty of allegations against Kedah exco member V.Arumugam, whose resignation has been accepted by the Kedah MB. The allegations relating his marital status have even been brought up to the attention of the Kedah palace. PKR officials have confirmed that these allegations were one main reason for Arumugam's decision to quit his exco seat. The pressure is mounting for him to quit his state seat but that would mean a by-election, which even Pakatan Rakyat leaders do not have the appetite at this point. Certainly, not the BN either.Meanwhile, Arumugam continued to be incommunicado to the media and PR officials. Even the Kedah MB told reporters at a press conference that he has been unable to reach him. He is said to be on leave but no one is able to verify it.

These two by-elections will be very interesting, especially in Bukit Gantang. The result in Perak will reveal if PR still enjoys the confidence of the electorates or Najib to prove of his worthy to claim the Prime Ministership.
Should PR pick Nizar as the candidate, BN might as well give it a miss!
The Sultan too will be placed in a very uncomfortable situation. Let the best man win. My money is on PAS/PR.

At least he has the honour and dignity to resign.
If you take a stone and throw at a gathering of all BN assemblymen and parliament members, you are sure to hit one with the same accusation and yet they have thick skin to stay on.
CSL is one of those hit by the stone.

So there are allegations. But he says he's quitting due to threats. There's also a mention of RM5 million.
Only he knows the truth.
Politics and politicians...sigh.
