PKR duo - are they quitting as rumoured?

The word in Perak is that the two PKR state assemblymen - Mohd Osman Jailu (left) and Jamaluddin Mohd Radzi (right) - want to get out of the Pakatan Rakyat state government and be independents. The Perak MB Mohammad Nizar Jamaluddin has denied these speculations but the strange part is that reporters are unable to contact the two executive councillors. Surely they should just come out openly and deny the rumours instead of keeping the suspense. The name of another Perak assemblyman has also been mentioned and he, too, is keeping silent. Interestingly, the two PKR assemblymen are facing corruption charges.

only Umno can help to drop corruption charges against them.

I suppose mathematically it is cheaper to buy two ADUN than to buy the whole town and hope that you get one seat from that town.
Most politicians are for sale, except a few notable ones who are willing to forego a rich income and fight for justice, even going to jail for it. But most of them are not in that category.

Dear Wong,

It's indeed sad that at this crucial time when the nation's economy is in great danger of sliding into a recession, our politicians are still engaged in playing musical chairs game.

The Rakyat is crying for solutions from our politicians to make their lives easier in the sluggish economy, but 10 months after the GE, our leaders have lost their focus and are still politiking!

In times like this, we can only pray to God to remove all self serving and corrupt leaders and raise up righteous leaders.

There must loads of money involved. It was PR which set the ball rolling. First UMNO Dato's Nasharudin was enticed by PR and now this party is set to loose two of its MP. Regardless monies flow like the Nigara falls. A lesson from 2008 election is PR and UMNO are the same. They go where RM is.

Just join UMNO and the coruption charge will be drop or it will fade away, thats what I see and it can happen. I just hope they, UMNO force it through, yes Pakatan will lose 2 seats but BN will lose it all even faster. I'll just wait and see.

It seems that "kidnapping" or going "missing" is now another weapon in Malaysian politics. First a doctor in a sodomy case wne t "missing", but then resurfaced. Then ,a PI and his family went "missing", and are still "missing". At one time an UMNO politician went "missing" after making a racially sensitive speech. Now two PKR ADUN have gone "missing". But all these are still minor compared to all the "missing" billions of Ringgit of our rakyat's money.

Some PKR members are ex UMNO men, so the temptation to return to UMNO is always there when carrots are dangled in front of them.

DAP in Perak were screwed by law which says the MB should be Malay and Muslim (am I right?) otherwise all these nonsense would not have happened.

Perak government should be dissolved, and a fresh state lection held. It will give both BN and PR the chance to spring clean their list of candidates,as well as return the decision making to the rakyat of Perak. It would also be a good shot in the arm for the Perak state economy as there willbe a lot of spending in the whole of Perak as the political parties campaign for election.
